These terms are an agreement between you and Studio Aices ("we", "us"), the operator of ARZ-7, for your use of the game at arz7.com and in the ARZ-7 apps for Android and iOS (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use ARZ-7. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who also accepts these terms on your behalf, including for any purchase.
2. Your account
- You can sign in with Google, with Sign in with Apple on iOS, or with an email address and password. Give us accurate information, and keep your password and devices secure.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@arz7.com if you think someone else has used it.
- One person, one account. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.
- You can delete your account at any time at arz7.com/account/delete.
3. Nicknames and fair play
ARZ-7 is played with other people, so please keep it fair and friendly. You agree not to:
- choose a nickname that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else, or contains contact details or advertising;
- cheat, collude with other players, use bots or scripts to play, or deliberately exploit bugs;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players;
- interfere with the Service, try to access accounts or systems that are not yours, or reverse engineer the apps except where the law allows it;
- use the Service for any illegal purpose, or to gamble.
We may rename a nickname that breaks these rules, remove scores gained unfairly, and suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
4. No gambling
ARZ-7 is a game of skill and chance played for fun only. Points, wins and leaderboard positions have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money or prizes, and the game offers no real-money wagering.
5. Premium
- The game is free to play. Premium is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks extra features, such as private tables, table pace and house rules. The features included are described on the Premium page and in the app before you buy.
- Premium is not a subscription: you pay once, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. It is tied to your ARZ-7 account and works on the website and in the apps for as long as the Service is offered.
- Prices are shown before you pay and include any VAT that applies. Payment is processed by Stripe on the website, Google Play on Android, or the App Store on iOS, and is also subject to that store's terms. Refunds for purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are handled by that store under its own policy.
- Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because Premium is digital content that is unlocked immediately, you agree, when you buy it, that it is supplied at once, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it is unlocked. This does not affect your rights if Premium does not work as described.
- Some early players hold a legacy annual subscription. It renews through the store it was bought from until cancelled there, and can be cancelled at any time in that store.
6. Our content
The game, its rules as implemented, artwork, sounds, videos, software and the ARZ-7 name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own entertainment under these terms. Nothing else is transferred to you.
7. Changes and availability
We keep improving ARZ-7, so features may change. We try to keep the Service running at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and a game in progress may be lost if that happens. If we ever shut ARZ-7 down, we will give at least 60 days' notice in the game.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using ARZ-7 and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and where reasonable we will tell you why. If we close an account that bought Premium without a good reason under these terms, we will refund the purchase.
9. Liability
The Service is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by other players, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the game before a significant change takes effect. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country where Studio Aices is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. If you have a problem, please contact us first at support@arz7.com so we can try to put it right. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
12. Store terms
If you downloaded ARZ-7 from Google Play or the App Store, that store's terms also apply to your download. On iOS, Apple's standard licence agreement applies alongside these terms, and Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it. Where these terms and a store's terms conflict, the store's terms apply to the extent they must.
