How to play ARZ-7

Take turns drawing cards. Every new number adds to your score, and a number you already have busts you. Stop at the right moment, use the action cards on your friends, and be the first to 200 points.

On your turn

Draw, stay, or fold

Draw

Flip the top card. A number you don’t have yet adds to your score. A number you already have is a bust.

Stay

Once you hold 4 cards you can stop and bank this round’s points. You can’t stay with fewer.

Fold

Stuck early with 2 or 3 cards (at least one a number)? Fold: you drop your highest number and keep the rest.

Scoring

How points add up

  • Round score

Add up your numbers, add any + cards, then double it for an x2.

  • Bust

Draw a number you already have and the round is worth 0 to you. On top of that, the duplicate’s value comes off your total: bust on a 12 and you lose 12.

  • Seven different numbers

The round ends on the spot. You score your round plus a bonus worth your highest number.

  • Winning

Round scores add up. The first player to reach 200 wins the game.

Example

(5 + 9 + 12 + 4) × 2 = 60

Bank it by staying. Draw a 5, 9 or 12 instead and it’s 0, and 5, 9 or 12 off your total.

Special cards

Actions and modifiers

Freeze

Pick any player still in the round, yourself included. Their round ends right away and they bank the points they have. Use it to stop a rival on a hot streak, or on yourself to lock in a big hand.

Take Three

Pick a player, yourself included. They draw three cards in a row, and any of them can bust them.

Revive

Keep it in your hand. It cancels your first duplicate of the round: the Revive and the duplicate are both discarded and you carry on.

+2, +4, +6, +8, +10

Points on top of your numbers. A modifier can never bust you.

x2

Doubles your round score, after the + cards are added.
